~Adz new Kollection 2009~

The Adz ObyO (Originals by Originals) Fall/Winter 2009 Collection has started to hit select adidas Originals retailers here in the US including HUF. Some of the highlights of this August drop includes the adidas JS Sequin (Jeremy Scott) pair, adidas Vulcanized Boot KZK (Kazuki), and the adidas Official Mid David Beckham by James Bond. The last of which comes in two different colors. While the David Beckham by James Bond Collection keeps it clean and sophisticated and the Kazuki Collection which caters to Asian consumers, the one “original” that always seems to keep us getting is Jeremy Scott and his adidas JS Sequin sneaker. via HUF

Two of the best in the respective sneaker and music industry, Adidas and Def Jam, had come

together this year to collaborate on a collection of sneakers to celebrate Def Jam’s 25th Anniversary.

Amongst this collection are cool renditions of the signature Forum Mid and Stan Smith II in red, black and gold. The special edition Stan Smith II features a plush black suede upper highlighted with red accents. Both Def Jam and Adidas logos are incorporated into the kicks for some major brand recognition. The Def Jam logo is printed in white on the side heel panel and it also shares a spot with the adidas Originals logo on the tongue and heel. A thoughtful design detail to note would be a small turntable graphic that is printed on the opposite side of the heel panel, a fitting motif for Def Jam in the music business.

The Forum Mid is a more flamboyant pair in red leather upper with gold accents. Likewise, the Forum Mid is packed with logo details. The Def Jam logo is worked into the shoe in gold on the tongue tag and embossed on the side panel. At the ankle, the words “AD.BO.DJ.25″ are featured on the padded side ankle. The kicks also come with a matching red and gold lace hardware to give the shoes that extra bling factor.

These shoes are released as a part of the adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2009 collection alongside with some special edition apparel such as hoodies. Check out these sneakers and look out for them as they continue to drop this season.

The all time Old Kicks of adidas Originals‘ newest pack features a three way collaboration with X-Large, PORTER, and maharishion three of their Originals’ models including the Superstar, Nizza, and Stan Smith respectively. X-Large collaborated with adidas on the Superstar using a wide variety of colors and exotic reptile leathers with an X-Large logo featured on the tongue. Porter kept it very basic and clean with a Black nylon upper and Orange lining, similar to their bags, on the adidas Nizza Hi. maharishi and adidas worked together on the Stan Smith using a Light Blue synthetic on the upper with maharishi branding near the heel of the shoe on the upper. All three are available now at select adidas Originals retailers including PORPER

The Adidas Stan Smith was the first tennis shoes model that featured all leather uppers and it has

been popular since its release. These new reissue models go back to its roots by following the shape of the French made original version released in 1965. The simple design comes in two colors, black or white uppers with clean white soles. Nubuck fabric uppers are used for the black model with matching black laces and white logos on the tongue and heel. On the other hand, the white model takes cue from the original sneaker with similar white leather upper with navy logos and heel patch. This is one of my Fav... The Klassic.. I were them to go out with a nice outfit... Keep it clean!!!
