Now that’s something that would set your sneakers apart in a sea of kicks! I present to you Feride Uslu, a German artist brought her vision in a new collaboration with Reebok. Feride Uslu is the creator of uslu airlines: beauty makeup supersonic. She was born in Soke, Turkey, and lives and works passionately with Jan Mihm, her husband, in Berlin. She has used airbrushes for years to apply makeup to her clients. Now, consumers can get the same results with her new makeup line. Feride, the ultimate futuristic makeup guru (Björk and Matthew Barney love her), can make an art piece out of you. I think she made it with RBK with the Mid Glo Reebok! The new Reebok classics Courtnee Mid Glo by Feride Uslu have a distinctive pattern that could pass as an ordinary interlocking pattern print. But there’s so much more to it! The print glows in the dark! Beautiful and completely unexpected, the new glowing sneakers will be available starting March 2010! Would it have made things more interesting if the laces had also received the same glowing in the dark treatment?
